I Think I Love Amanda Peet.

I might use this picture to masturbate to later. I know you were all thinking it, I just said it out loud.

I’ve been watching quite a bit of Studio 60 recently. In case you don’t know, it’s a show written by Aaron Sorkin (also the creator of The West Wing, Sports Night, and A Few Good Men) that’s basically a behind the scenes look at a sketch-comedy show of the SNL ilk. Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, and Amanda Peet ride on the back of this mighty beast and their performances are incredible. Amanda Peet’s character is the president of the fictional network. She’s an A-Type female who’s ambitious, driven, and tightly wound. I don’t know what it is exactly about her character, but she’s incredibly attractive to me. Something about a female who’s large and in charge gets my motor revving*.

So my dad kind of bailed on me today. He was supposed to meet with me at his office in the afternoon and he bounced out before I arrived. I’m a little disappointed with him as of late. Haven’t actually spoken with him in close to two weeks, and haven’t seen him in even longer than that. I’m sure that he knows I’m in need of some help, I just hope that his knowing is not that reason why he’s been avoiding me. We’ll see when I try again tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after…

Looking forward to AC tomorrow, if for nothing else than just getting away from home. Things have been a little crazy around here as of late and it would be really nice to just get away and screw my head on properly. With a bit of luck, all will be right in my world after this weekend.

I leave you with yet another picture of Miss Amanda Gorm, errr, Peet…

* - my “motor revving” could easily be confused with my “fist pumping” near my “crotch region”. I assure you that I’ve built a working prototype of an engine that actually revs when something aesthetically or intellectually pleasing occurs in my life.

about this

So little to say and so much time… Here goes something….

My name is Andrew to everyone who knows me and nothing to the people who don’t. I rarely feel inclined to write about myself and this small text blurb is no exception. I’m a film maker, of sorts. A designer, of sorts. A musician, of sorts. A photographer, of sorts. An armada of etceteras march behind these four generals.

The point I’m trying to make is that I enjoy art in all of it’s forms, and try my best to creatively express myself in every medium I take a liking towards. As always, things like life get in the way of being a non-stop idea factory, but that life is something that I’m thoroughly enjoying at the moment.

It consists of my beautiful girlfriend who I am very much in love with, a job that pays me well to do work that I would otherwise be doing for free, and a family and friends that I wouldn’t trade the world for. It’s safe to assume that I’m walking on air/over water/atop mountain peaks (pick one… hell, pick all three).
